1. Eyes of Faith Listen...
Quick MIDI
God gave eyes to me,
Put them in my head so I could see
All my friends and family,
All of his creation.
What a sight to see!
God gave eyes to me.
But I
Could not
See the most important thing I've got,
If my heart and soul and mind
Lived in the darkness of the blind. So...
God gives faith to me,
Puts it in my heart so I can see
Jesus died instead of me;
He is my salvation!
Through my faith I see
God's great love for me!
God's great love for me!
2. God Is Merciful
Listen...
Quick MIDI
What if our God were merciless; what if he did not care?
What if he said, "You made the mess; now you can just live
there!"?
What if he sat, right where he's at, watching the world going by?
Who could survive without his help?
Who could survive?
Not I!
But God is merciful, for it is he
Who every day, in every way takes care of me.
What if our Savior never came; what if he stayed away?
What if, because he had no blame, he didn't want to pay?
What if he said, "When you are dead, go with the Devil and stew!"?
Who could have paid for every sin?
Who could have paid?
Not you!
But Jesus did descend, and willingly,
He took our sin away with him on Calvary.
What if the Holy Spirit quit creating faith inside?
What if he did not care one bit if we are sanctified?
Turned in his track, never looked back; left the converting undone?
Who could believe God's mystery?
Who could believe?
Not one!
But still the Spirit calls, and calls again.
He will not cease to work his peace in hearts of men.
Why does Almighty God above put up with all this fuss?
It is because his name is love; love that he gives to us.
Generously, from all Three; Father and Spirit and Son.
Certainly God is merciful; see what our God has done!
3. God's Word Listen...
Quick MIDI
The Bible's not the biggest book, although it is the best.
It tells us of our Savior's love, and how we have been blessed.
REFRAIN:
The young and old, they all should hear the messages on its pages.
For God has made it very clear: his Word is for all ages!
The more we learn about God's Word, the more we come to see
Without the love of God above, how lost we all would be.
REFRAIN:
4. I Am the Way Listen...
Quick MIDI
I am the only way,
The way God gave you.
There was a price to pay,
A price I gladly paid to bring you
Back to me,
I loved you so and gave
My life to show
I am the way.
There is no other way,
No way to save you,
And there is none today
Who gives all that I freely gave you;
Long ago.
I made your scarlet sins
As white as snow.
I am the way.
I am the truth; I am the life;
I am the God who gives your blinded spirit sight.
Come, and I'll show the way,
The way I gave you.
There is no price to pay,
No one to say what you must do;
It's all been done.
Eternal life is won
For you because
I am the way.
I am the way.
5. I Believe and Obey Listen...
Quick MIDI
Jesus took away my sin;
Promised I would rise again.
With the faith that I receive,
Jesus, I believe.
Jesus, I will trust in you.
Help me do what I must do.
With the strength you give each day,
Jesus, I obey.
6. Mary and Martha Listen...
Quick MIDI
REFRAIN:
Martha, Martha,
Rushing around,
Why don't you stop?
Take the time to sit down?
There is one thing more important to do:
Come hear the words that our
Lord Jesus has for you!
In a little village far away,
Jesus came to visit friends one day,
Mary and Martha, by name.
They were sisters who loved Jesus so,
And each chose a different way to show
Their happiness that they came.
Mary sat at the Savior's side,
Listening to him with her heart open wide.
Martha busied herself, instead.
Didn't take time to hear what he said.
REFRAIN:
"Lord and Master, why does Mary sit?
Tell her she should come and help a bit.
Why must I serve all alone?
Look at all the work there is to do;
Preparations to be done for you.
Will you please make my needs known?"
"Martha, with all your worrying,
You have neglected the most needful thing.
Mary's chosen the better part;
Now is the time to prepare your heart."
REFRAIN:
7. Miracles! Listen...
Quick MIDI
He could do anything,
Impossible things
That were never done before.
He could cure a disease
As quick as you please,
And still the ocean's roar.
At a wedding one time,
Turned water to wine
Before astonished eyes.
He could do anything,
Impossible things,
And his name is Jesus Christ.
His name is Jesus Christ!
Miracles
Were done by him so all could see
His command
Had absolute authority!
With a word he could level
A legion of devils
And cast them in the lake.
With a basket of food,
Fed a multitude
With enough for coffee break.
He could walk on the waves,
And open the graves
To make the dead arise.
He could do anything,
impossible things,
And his name is Jesus Christ.
His name is Jesus Christ!
Miracles
Were done by him so people knew
He could do
Exactly what he promised to!
Let it never be said
That the wonders he did
Are no longer done today.
There's unlimited length
In omnipotent strength,
And it never goes away!
The salvation he gives,
As sure as he lives,
Is not a thing of the past.
But it offers to you,
Like all miracles do,
A power that will last!

9. Song of the Lambs Listen...
Quick MIDI
The Lord is my shepherd, he calls and I go
To green, grassy meadows where water runs slow.
My spirit is filled, my soul is fed.
The Lord is my shepherd, and I am well-led.
REFRAIN:
Bup bah, bup bah, bup bah, bup bup, bah.
Bup bah, bup bah, bup bah.
The Lord is my shepherd, and he lets me take
His pathway of righteousness, for Jesus’ sake.
Though danger and death may join my parade,
The Lord is my shepherd, and I’m not afraid.
REFRAIN:
The Lord is my shepherd, he makes life a treat,
Just like a fine banquet with plenty to eat.
His blessings pour out, amazing my foes;
My cup is filled up till it overflows.
REFRAIN:
His goodness and mercy will always be found
As long as this planet goes spinning around.
Then, ever together, with ewes and with rams,
I’ll live in the house of the Lord of the lambs.
10. The Bread and Wine Listen...
Quick MIDI
Here is the bread; here is the wine.
Nourishment filled with flesh divine.
May it preserve, strengthen, too,
Knowing the Ssavior has forgiven you.
I am the good shepherd; my flock I can claim.
I know them as well as I know my own name.
My father in heaven wants none to be lost;
He said, "Go protect them,whatever the cost."
I am the good shepherd; my flock I command.
And no one can pluck them from out of my hand.
I gave up my life so they could run free.
And those that are mine come running to me.
My sheep hear my voice; they follow me.
I lead them in life to eternity.
I've not lost one lamb that was put in my keep,
For I'm the good shepherd, and I know my sheep.
I'm the good shepherd, and I know my sheep!
12. Why He Walked with Men Listen...
Quick MIDI
God became our brother; lived the life of men;
Learned the joy and sorrow, time and time again.
Born a man called Jesus, made himself become
Lower than the angels; God’s begotten son.
He could feel temptation, and yet the man endured.
He fulfilled our obligation; died as we deserved.
Birds had nesting places, and the fox a den.
God knew no such pleasure while he walked with men.
Why did God decide to be Hidden in humility;
Set aside his majesty, Just to be a man?
Only his perfection could satisfy the law,
So he joined with us forever;
One in place of all.
13. Wild Flowers Listen...
Quick MIDI
Wild flowers, God’s creation.
He has spun them like a rainbow-splashed bouquet.
Kings wear only imitation;
They can’t match the handiwork of God’s display.
So don’t you worry now, when good times go wrong.
And don’t you worry how you will get along.
You mean much more to him than flowers that don’t stay;
If God cares for wild flowers,
He’ll care for you today.
Seek his kingdom in his Holy Word;
Learn his righteousness to ease your troubled mind.
Trust in Jesus, and be well assured;
He can handle any worry you can find.
So don’t you worry now; trust in God indeed!
And don’t you worry how; he knows what you need.
But with a stronger faith, believe him and obey.
Seek his kingdom and its blessings;
Let God direct today.
14. Zacchaeus Listen...
Quick MIDI
In Jericho city, there lived a rich man,
The chief of collectors of tax in the land.
His wealthy position gave him no respect,
For he often cheated when he would collect.
The rich man, Zacchaeus, heard somebody say
That Jesus would enter the city that day.
He wanted to see the Messiah first-hand,
But he was too little, so here’s what he planned:
Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus, oh, what do you teach us
By climbing a branch of a sycamore tree?
Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus, your story can teach us
To want to know Jesus is how we should be!
When Jesus arrived at that part of the town,
He looked up and said to Zacchaeus, "Come down.
I must be a guest in your house today."
Zacchaeus was happy to show him the way.
The people who watched were upset quite a bit,
For sitting with sinners is no place to sit.
But there is no truth in the reason they gave,
For Jesus had come here to seek and to save.
Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus, oh, what do you teach us
By going to hear what the Lord has to say?
Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus, your story can teach us
To welcome the Savior when he comes our way.
Zacchaeus got up and surprised everyone.
He said he was sorry for what he had done.
One half that he owned he would give to the poor,
And those he had cheated, pay back four times more.
"Zacchaeus," said Jesus, "How happy I am!
You now are a true son of Abraham.
Salvation has come to this house today."
For that, dear Zacchaeus, you don’t have to pay!
Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus, oh, what do you teach us
By showing your thanks in the way that you give?
Zacchaeus, Zacchaeus, your story can teach us
The joy of forgiveness can change how we live!
